Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a representative from Mrunde African Tours and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax and acclimate to your new surroundings, perhaps venturing out to explore Nairobi’s bustling markets and vibrant culture.

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive from Nairobi to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you’ll pass through the Great Rift Valley, where you can stop to admire breathtaking viewpoints overlooking the valley floor. Arrive at your lodge or camp in the Masai Mara in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five and the annual wildebeest migration (seasonal).

Day 3: Full Day Safari in Masai Mara

Today is dedicated to exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara, home to an incredible diversity of wildlife and landscapes. Set out on morning and afternoon game drives, guided by experienced safari guides who will help you spot elusive predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as large herds of elephants, zebras, and antelopes. During the Great Migration season (July to October), witness the dramatic river crossings as thousands of wildebeests and zebras brave the crocodile-infested waters of the Mara River.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, depart from the Masai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its vast flocks of pink flamingos and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a leisurely game drive en route to your lodge or camp, where you’ll check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, explore the shores of Lake Nakuru, keeping an eye out for rhinos, giraffes, and buffalo roaming the savannahs.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi

After breakfast, embark on a final game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, with the chance to spot any wildlife species you may have missed on previous drives. Afterward, bid farewell to Lake Nakuru as you drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable safari adventure with Mrunde African Tours.
