Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, a representative from Mrunde African Tours will warmly welcome you to Kenya and assist you with the transfer to your hotel. Take some time to relax and acclimate to your new surroundings, perhaps exploring Nairobi’s cultural attractions and vibrant markets.

Day 2: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart from Nairobi and drive to the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve, known for its abundant wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five and the annual wildebeest migration (seasonal).

Day 3: Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara

Today offers a full day of safari adventures in the Maasai Mara, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the vast plains and encounter its diverse wildlife. Set out on morning and afternoon game drives, with the chance to witness predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs in action, as well as large herds of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes.

Day 4: Maasai Mara to Laikipia

After breakfast, bid farewell to the Maasai Mara as you drive to Laikipia, a pristine wilderness region known for its conservation efforts and unique wildlife experiences. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive or nature walk in search of elephants, rhinos, and other endangered species.

Day 5: Laikipia to Nairobi

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive or nature walk in Laikipia, with the chance to spot any wildlife species you may have missed on previous drives. Afterward, bid farewell to Laikipia as you drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your memorable safari adventure with Mrunde African Tours.
