Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you’ll be greeted by a representative from Mrunde African Tours and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax and unwind after your journey, perhaps exploring the vibrant city of Nairobi and its cultural attractions.

Day 2: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, depart from Nairobi and drive to Samburu National Reserve, located in Kenya’s northern frontier. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in search of the unique wildlife species that inhabit the reserve, including the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and Somali ostrich.

Day 3: Full Day Safari in Samburu

Today offers a full day of safari adventures in Samburu National Reserve, where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the park’s rugged terrain and encounter its diverse wildlife. Set out on morning and afternoon game drives, with the chance to spot elephants, lions, leopards, and other iconic species against the backdrop of the Ewaso Ng’iro River.

Day 4: Samburu to Aberdare National Park

After breakfast, bid farewell to Samburu as you drive to Aberdare National Park, renowned for its dense forests, waterfalls, and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or camp and enjoy lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive or nature walk in search of elephants, buffaloes, and elusive leopards.

Day 5: Aberdare to Nairobi

After breakfast, bid farewell to Aberdare as you drive back to Nairobi. Along the way, stop at the Aberdare Country Club for lunch and optional activities such as horseback riding or trout fishing. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable safari adventure with Mrunde African Tours.
