Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Mrunde African Tours will warmly welcome you to Tanzania and assist you with the transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha serves as the gateway to the northern circuit safari destinations and offers a charming blend of bustling markets, cultural diversity, and stunning natural landscapes. Take some time to relax and acclimate to your new surroundings, soaking in the excitement of the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After a delicious breakfast, your safari adventure begins as you depart from Arusha and head southwest to Tarangire National Park. Along the scenic drive, you’ll pass through picturesque countryside dotted with traditional Maasai villages, offering a glimpse into local life and culture. As you enter Tarangire, the landscape transforms into a mosaic of baobab-studded savannahs and lush riverine forests. Keep your camera ready as you embark on your first game drive, with the chance to spot iconic wildlife such as elephants, lions, giraffes, and wildebeests. After a day of thrilling wildlife encounters, retire to your lodge or camp nestled within the park and unwind with a delicious dinner under the starlit sky.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara

After breakfast, bid farewell to Tarangire as you journey further along the northern circuit to Lake Manyara National Park. En route, enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and the shimmering waters of Lake Manyara in the distance. Upon arrival at the park, embark on a game drive through diverse habitats that range from dense woodlands to open grassy plains and alkaline lakeshores. Keep a lookout for the famous tree-climbing lions that inhabit the park, as well as herds of elephants, hippos, buffaloes, and an array of bird species. As the sun sets over Lake Manyara, settle into your accommodation overlooking the park and savor a delicious dinner accompanied by the sounds of the African night.

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart from Lake Manyara and make your way to the iconic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. As you ascend the crater rim, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the vast caldera below, a haven for diverse wildlife and one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. After settling into your lodge perched on the crater rim, enjoy a leisurely afternoon soaking in the stunning scenery and perhaps embarking on a guided nature walk to learn more about the local flora and fauna.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Expedition

Today is dedicated to exploring the extraordinary Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eden of Africa.” Descend into the crater floor, a vast and fertile ecosystem teeming with wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, and hippos. Marvel at the sheer abundance of wildlife as you traverse the crater floor, with opportunities for close encounters and incredible photographic moments around every corner. As the day draws to a close, ascend back to the crater rim and return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest and a delicious dinner.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, bid farewell to Ngorongoro as you embark on the final leg of your northern circuit adventure to Serengeti National Park. As you journey through the iconic Serengeti plains, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings along the way, with the chance to spot lions lounging in the shade of acacia trees or herds of wildebeests and zebras grazing on the vast grasslands. Arrive at your lodge or camp in the heart of the Serengeti, where you’ll be welcomed with warm hospitality and breathtaking views of the endless savannah stretching to the horizon.

Day 7: Serengeti Safari
