Day 1: Chogoria Gate (2,850 meters) to Mount Meru Bandas (3,000 meters)

– Start at Chogoria Gate
– Trek through the lush forest along the Chogoria route
– Reach Mount Meru Bandas for overnight stay

Day 2: Mount Meru Bandas to Road Head Camp (3,000 meters)

– Continue trekking through the forest and moorland
– Pass by Lake Ellis and Mugi Hill
– Reach Road Head Camp for overnight stay

Day 3: Road Head Camp to Mintos Hut (4,300 meters)

– Trek through the Gorges Valley, which is known for its stunning landscapes
– Ascend to Mintos Hut, situated below the majestic peaks of Mount Kenya
– Spend the night at Mintos Hut

Day 4: Mintos Hut to Point Lenana (4,985 meters) and descent to Chogoria Gate

– Early morning start for the summit attempt on Point Lenana
– Ascend to Point Lenana to catch the sunrise
– Descend back to Mintos Hut for breakfast
– Continue descending to Chogoria Gate where your trek concludes
