Day 1: Naro Moru Gate (2,330 meters) to Met Station (3,050 meters)

– Start trekking from Naro Moru Gate
– Ascend through the forest and bamboo zone
– Reach Met Station for overnight stay

Day 2: Met Station to Mackinder’s Camp (4,200 meters)

– Trek through the moorland and Teleki Valley
– Ascend to Mackinder’s Camp, situated below the towering peaks of Mount Kenya
– Spend the night at Mackinder’s Camp

Day 3: Mackinder’s Camp to Austrian Hut (4,790 meters) and back to Mackinder’s Camp

– Early morning start for the ascent of Point Lenana (4,985 meters)
– Summit Point Lenana to catch the sunrise
– Descend back to Mackinder’s Camp for breakfast
– Optionally, you can hike to Austrian Hut for acclimatization purposes and return to Mackinder’s Camp for overnight stay

Day 4: Mackinder’s Camp to Naro Moru Gate

– Descend from Mackinder’s Camp to Naro Moru Gate
– Reach Naro Moru Gate where your trek concludes
