Day 1: Sirimon Gate (2,650 meters) to Old Moses Camp (3,300 meters)

– Start trekking from Sirimon Gate
– Hike through the montane forest, crossing the Ontulili River
– Reach Old Moses Camp, where you’ll spend the night

Day 2: Old Moses Camp to Shipton Camp (4,200 meters)

– Depart from Old Moses Camp and trek through the Mackinder’s Valley
– Pass through the moorland and Likii North Valley
– Arrive at Shipton Camp, situated below Shipton’s Peak, where you’ll stay overnight

Day 3: Shipton Camp to Point Lenana (4,985 meters) and descent to Sirimon Gate

– Early morning start for the summit attempt on Point Lenana
– Ascend through the rocky terrain to Point Lenana, the third-highest peak on Mount Kenya
– Enjoy the sunrise from the summit
– Descend back to Shipton Camp for breakfast
– Continue descending through the Mackinder’s Valley
– Reach Sirimon Gate where your trek concludes

This itinerary is physically demanding, especially the summit day. Ensure you are well-prepared for high-altitude trekking and have acclimatized properly before attempting the summit.
